12th Annual ArtWalk Weekend - October 15th & 16th

October 15th and 16th, 2016 marked the 12th Annual ArtWalk Weekend. Nashua is a community dedicated to supporting the arts, creative expression, local business, and having fun. ArtWalk celebrates all of those things!

We at City Arts Nashua want to thank everyone who made ArtWalk Weekend 2016 the best ever!

With 68 artists registered, and more at Nashua Area Artists Association ArtHub, the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen, the Hollis Arts Society, Riverwalk Cafe, Maison de l'Art, and WineNot, over 150 local artists showed and sold work during the weekend.

Thanks to the musicians who kept visitors entertained and to Eric Escobar for creating his live art banner at ArtWalk headquarters. Thanks go to our partners-the downtown businesses that were artist venues and Food Stops, the Nashua Public Library, MakeIt Labs, Nashua Community Music School, Beck's Arts Express, the Greater Nashua YMCA, Teresa Moler, iUGO, and the Nashua High School South honor students.

City Arts Nashua could not produce ArtWalk without our generous sponsors: RJ Finlay/30 Temple Street, which contributed financial support and the assistance of their staff, who made all run smoothly at ArtWalk headquarters. Additional sponsors included the Nashua Arts Commission, BAE Systems, the Nash Foundation, The Telegraph, Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce, Lovering Volvo, Peacock Players, Great American Downtown, and Banyan Tree Yoga.

And we are grateful to the ArtWalk committee for their upfront planning: Bonnie Guercio, Rebecca Ferguson, Juliana Oliveira, Judy Carlson, Marjorie Bollinger Hogan, Tracy Lee Carroll, Sue Hurwitz, and Gail Moriarty. A great team is made even better by a great leader, so kudos and thanks to Jillian Ketchen for her energy, dedication, and skill that helped make ArtWalk epic!

Events and Activities

The ArtWalk experience wouldn't be complete without workshops and demonstrations, performance art, live music, children's activities, theater, live mural creations, and much more!

Food Stops

With so much to do, make sure you plan either lunch or dinner, or both in one of downtown Nashua’s many fine restaurants. We encourage you enjoy a meal at an ArtWalk Food Stop, the restaurants supporting our event.

Volunteer

With so much great stuff happening, we could use a few extra hands in the weeks leading up to and the days of ArtWalk 2016. Contact Jill Ketchen if you would like to learn more about opportunities to join Team ArtWalk!
