Stacy Topjian Searle

My landscape drawings are done in pen and ink and are created through a rich blend of values and textures.  I use a unique blend of cross hatching, contour and parallel lines, stippling and scrumbling techniques that create mood and feel of life and motion – as if I paint with my pens.  While creation inspires most of my work, I also draw old barns and mill buildings that once were so central to New England life.  I am an award-winning juried artist and member of the Arts League of Lowell and have exhibited in group shows at Beaver Brook in Hollis, NH, the Whitty Gallery in Hollis, the Brush Gallery in Lowell, MA, the ALL Gallery in Lowell, the Angles and Art Gallery in Haverhill, MA and the Fitchburg Art Museum in Fitchburg, MA.
